Dancing with Shadows

In the neon glow of the midnight haze Shadows twist in their secret ballet Feet hit the pavement Hearts on display No map No compass Just the city's sway The moon whispers The stars collide Echoes chase me Nowhere to hide Dancing with shadows Spinning in the night Chasing the echoes Lost in the light Round and round The rhythm’s tight Dancing with shadows Till morning bites A streetlamp flickers A spotlight’s tease The air hums heavy with electric breeze My soul’s unzipped It's a fevered release The night keeps moving It never sees Who are they Who am I Silhouettes melting into sky A mirror breaks A shard can’t lie But I keep moving I don’t ask why Dancing with shadows Spinning in the night Chasing the echoes Lost in the light Round and round The rhythm’s tight Dancing with shadows Till morning bites
