Me Time

I had some me time. Sweet time. Complete time. Me time. Oh yeah. Man, I ain't even trying to hear today. This Morning I woke up, Drew the curtains, Left daylight outside. Sit down on the sofa, Had a cup of tea, Then absorbed all the warmth in my mind. I counted each and every one of my blessings. Of another day I've survived. Thought about my will and determination, My refusal To be denied. I took some me time. I put all my fears behind me. Oh yeah. I sat there alone, Got in touch with the forces That secure my spiritual home. I pondered, I dreamed, Meditated on all the things. Lost all the people That's hatin', Anyone that's ever tried to block me, Each one that's not necessary. I had some me time. Me time.
