High School Pictures

Twenty years old and I do feel old. I leave my room twice a week in the Same clothes. Two or three years that I stopped the show. I let the time pass slowly, but I've grown A few inches 'cause I've been laying down for Too long now. I bore myself to tears 'cause they did it Before me. No idea mine can compete. They got everything done at sixteen. And I look the same as I did in High school pictures, the path I stopped taking Since. But I watch the world keep spinning around. Not mine, but theirs, it does look pretty. Twenty-one now and I miss some trains. Trying to catch a breath every one. How do they all know what to say? Towards a place been a while. I'm watching people's life online. I know they show only the good side. But I wanna know how to romanticize Outside of my mind. And I'm too scared now, too old and tired Of wanting the life of someone else. And the time goes by and I'm stuck in Here, waiting for the divine. When everything's bright and my path is clear. Oh, I wanna live in a movie, But I'm too old now. I'm twenty-one but I still look Pretty when I drown
