THE SHELTER

We've been living our lives But we have spent them in lies So, there is nothing left And our future's been theft Now we all have to hide But there's still hope inside That our sun will rise But we don't realize The truth That we all are trapped here Doomed to disappear We're waiting in fear Our death is near! I guess, there is just no way out And it's not just the weather Will it be better? Out future is burning, so there is no doubt That our time is turning away in this shelter There is not much to breathe Our planet's begun to freeze But we're safe here for now Until the generators allow Still we have our fancy suits Yeah, they look very cute And they can let us go outside So, no one would die Cause space radiation Brings us no salvation That's our situation No communication! (Burning! Freezing!) I guess, there is just no way out (Crashing! Squeezing!) That's my very last letter Will it be better? (Pointless! Hopeless!) Our planet is freezing So, there is no doubt (Nowhere! No air!) It's death without breathing Outside this shelter! Oh! Attention! The signal has been lost! Trying to establish connection between shelters! Additional power required! Redirecting power from less important systems! Trying to reactivate the comm relays! Restarting signal broadcast! (Ah, yeah!) System error! The attempt has failed! The signal is being blocked by magnetic interference! Manual assistance required! Calling all survivors from all availavle shelters! We need you to help us! Even if it's true, we would have to risk our lives We would have to go outside, only hoping, someone survives That would be only one way trip with just no turning back Before we fade to black! (Whoa!) But no our planet is just about to wrack! Just tell me, what we have to do If we can save ourselves! I need to make it through! I have to ring the bells! Maybe, this is our only way out! (Only way out!) This is our last endeavour! We must do better! (Better!) Now our planet is freezing! So, there is no doubt! (There is no doubt!) So, I am seizing my chance out of this shelter!
