Driving After Rain

We don't talk about the time between. Just the way the roads look clean. After storms have passed us by. Lights reflect, we're moving quiet. They say you can't go back the same. But every route leads to Your name. I keep driving after rain. When the city feels less strange. Every turn becomes a trace. Of the patterns we used to make. Your jacket's still beneath the dash. Smells like summer fading fast. I don't reach for it no more. Just remember what it's for. They say you can't go back the same. But every route leads to Your name. I keep driving after rain. When the city feels less strange. Every turn becomes a trace. Of the patterns we used to make. Maybe I'll take another road. Maybe I won't make it home. But tonight the streets are clear. And I'm still here. I Keep driving after rain. When the city feels less strange. Every turn becomes a trace. Of the patterns we used to make. After After the rain.
