Let the pines and fir trees They've been stuck out all winter In snow and blizzards Wrapped up, they sleep Their skinny greens Like hedgehog needles At least it doesn't turn yellow forever But it's never fresh We're an easy tribe We bloom and shine And a short time We're staying in the branches The whole red summer We were at our best Playing with the rays We swam in the poce! But the birds sang The flowers have faded The rays paled The marshmallows are gone So what do we get for free Hanging and turning yellow? Wouldn't it be better to follow them And we'll fly away!
