Summer Day

The sun's rising over the city And I see people are running late to work. But I don't have anywhere to be. Just take a look! What a wonderful weather! It's exactly the same as the day we met That day we made a perfect duet I remember our walks on the full moon You were laughing out loud at my stupid jokes And song about some water and smoke It was like a dream or maybe it was real We were messing around, the city life stopped still And that night you said: «We could make a perfect duet» Another day has gone without you But I remember everything On that summer day when your When your gaze led me astray Of that summer day the best The best memories remain On that summer day we met We met by a chance in LA One of those sunny days That's all I wanted That's all I wanted to say ... I have so many memories And every place where we have been Reminds me of you And takes me away on that day There is a time enough to live, Enough to love and to forgive Our meeting was not a mistake I want to believe Another night has gone without you But I remember everything On that summer day when your When your gaze led me astray Of that summer day the best The best memories remain On that summer day we met We met by a chance in LA One of those sunny days That's all I wanted That's all I wanted to say ... Years are passing by I think of you from time to time And feel the breeze of that warm summer Your picture is in my hand I flipped it over And all this time there was your number On that summer day when your When your gaze led me astray Of that summer day the best The best memories remain On that summer day we met We met by a chance in LA One of those sunny days That's all I wanted That's all I wanted to say Please don't go away
