The Tsunami

Our world was a safe harbor a beacon in the night A fortress we believed could stand against any fight But storm clouds gathered somewhere deep it's true And the first big wave came crashing down on me and you And with every passing minute the chill begins to creep Lost inside the arms of these oceans oh so deep We are lost inside the tsunami The waves are over our heads There are oceans now between us Forgetting words we said We are lost inside the tsunami Just sinking in the salty tide What will become of us now With nowhere left to hide
